Housekeeping 101: Cleaning Caddies for the Kiddos

While I was spring cleaning the kitchen I came up with a little idea to get the kids involved. I invested about $10.00 and made them their own cleaning caddies.

I just picked up two small caddies and a few dollar cleaning supplies and va la..instant kid size cleaning fun. I recycled a small bottle and just added some water and couple drops of dish soap. Each of my babies have their own spray, sponges, duster, scrub brush and a couple of sponges. I even included a kid friendly cleaning checklist.

I like how they turned out and as soon as I finished them the kids were begging to clean. YAY!

What do you do to get your kiddos involved in housekeeping?

  3. Hey Stephanie, your idea of distributing the work in kids is good, and i believe it surly works for you. It is hard to make kids understand the value of cleaning and making them accept the habit of cleaning. Maybe your idea will work for me too. Thanks for sharing, I used to be little mischievous and have called cleaning service many times, when my mother was not at home. But I believe you idea will work for me.
